In Spider-Man: Brand New Day — in theaters now — Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) proudly shows Peter Parker an app he built called “Spidey-tracker,” where people report Spider-Man sightings around New York. Audiences walk out of the theater, pull out their phones, and search the app store for it.
Sony did bring Ned’s app to life — just not as a download. The real Spidey Tracker launched on June 15, 2026 as an interactive website with a retro-game-styled world map, sighting pins, and a video intro from Ned himself. Add it to your iPhone home screen
1. Open the tracker in Safari
Go to spideytracker.com in Safari. (This works from Safari specifically — if you’re in another app’s browser, tap the option to open the page in Safari first.)
2. Tap the Share button
Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
3. Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down the share sheet and tap “Add to Home Screen.” You can rename it — “Spidey Tracker” fits nicely under the icon.
